You can use the standard event registration type form for capturing registrations and sign ups for many different types of campaigns, for example if you're based in a country where Facebook, JustGiving or iDonate fundraising isn't available, you can create a standard event registration type form and within the success message of the form, you can link to a fundraising platform or any url of your choice.

To create a event registration form that links to a fundraising platform of your choice:

  • Go to ''Campaigns'' in the main navigation at the top of your account and then select ''Forms'' from the drop-down.

  • Click the "New Form" button at the top right of the page.

  • Change Type to "Request Event Registration". If you're running a Facebook Challenge, we would recommend creating an ''Event registration with 1-click'' type form as this will enable your supporters to register and create a facebook fundraiser in a few clicks and both will be matched automatically after they've come straight into your account. If you're based in a country where facebook fundraising isn't available, create a ''event registration'' type form.

  • Customize your form.

  • At the bottom of the form there is a section titled ''Success Message'', if you're not integrating your campaign with Facebook or JustGiving, here you can add a link to a fundraising platform of your choice. Add the success message copy and complete the ''add text to display on the button'' field.

  • In the ''add a url to link to'' field, you can add the fundraising platform url of your choice.

  • Click "Save'' button.

  • To generate the url for the form, you will need to link the form to a campaign which in turn will generate the form url.

  • Go to the ''Campaigns'' tab in the main navigation bar at the top of your account.

  • Either create a new campaign or click on an existing campaign.

  • When in the campaign builder, if you head to the ''Registration Tab'' there is the option to ''Use Existing Form''

  • After selecting and saving your form, you can locate the URL by going to the Campaigns list. Click on ''campaigns'' in the main navigation bar, then select ''campaigns'' from the drop-down menu. Look for the column labeled ''registration form''; the URL for your registration form will be found there.

  • You can now copy and paste that URL where you want to (i.e. in a Facebook Group welcome post for your event, website etc).

  • You can see records created from Event Registration forms by going to ''Audience'' in the main navigation at the top of your account and selecting "Registrations".
