Using the Conversr Integration to Power SMS Journeys from GivePanel

Connect Conversr to GivePanel to sync fundraiser data and automate SMS journeys for your campaigns.

The Conversr integration allows you to connect GivePanel with third-party messaging platform Kudosity, enabling you to deliver automated SMS journeys to your supporters.


Just like GivePanel’s email journeys, this integration allows you to trigger personalised messages. This helps you engage with your audience in real time, using SMS as the channel.

Once the Conversr integration is enabled in your GivePanel account. Follow the steps below to get it set up and ready for your campaigns.


How It Works

  • Supporter data is passed from GivePanel to Conversr.

  • Data is only shared when a supporter has opted in to receive SMS marketing.

  • All data is linked to a specific GivePanel campaign.

  • This allows you to create automated journeys in Conversr (via Kudosity) that mirror your GivePanel email flows e.g. welcoming supporters when they register, or prompting fundraisers to take action.


Setting Up the Conversr Integration

Connect Conversr to GivePanel

  1. In GivePanel, go to Integrations and scroll down to find the Conversr section.

  2. Click Connect Conversr.

  3. You’ll be prompted to enter your Conversr API Key and API Secret.
    → You can find these in your Conversr account under Account Settings > API Settings.

  4. Click Connect Conversr to complete the connection.

Enable Conversr for a Specific Campaign

Once connected, you’ll need to enable Conversr for the individual campaigns you'd like to use with SMS:

  1. Go to Campaigns in GivePanel and select the campaign you want to connect.

  2. Click Edit and scroll to the Conversr Settings section.

  3. Tick the box that says Enable Conversr for this campaign.

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Optional: If the campaign already has fundraisers, you can click Sync All Existing Contacts to add them to Conversr. Any new fundraisers will be synced automatically in real time.


Testing the Integration

Before launching your campaign, we recommend testing to ensure everything is working smoothly:

  1. Connect Conversr and enable it for your chosen campaign (see steps above).

  2. Create a test registration/fundraiser for that campaign.

  3. Log into Conversr and view your campaign list. You should see a list named:

    • Campaign Name – Fundraisers – GivePanel

  4. Click View, and your test fundraiser should appear in the list.

Fundraiser data syncs in real time, so if nothing appears after 10 minutes, please reach out and we’ll take a look.
