Archiving a campaign is a great way to keep your GivePanel account organised - especially if you’ve run multiple campaigns.
How to Archive a Campaign
Go to Campaigns in the main navigation bar.
From the dropdown, select Campaigns.
Find the campaign you'd like to archive.
In the Actions column, click the Options icon.
Select Archive.
That’s it! Your campaign will now be moved to the Archived view.
Note: When you archive a campaign, the associated form will be closed to new registrations and any connected email journeys will be paused automatically. (email journeys of archived campaigns will still be visible in the email journey section of your account)
How to Restore a Campaign
Navigate to the Archived view in the Campaigns section.
Find the campaign you want to restore.
In the Actions column, click the Options icon.
Select Restore.
The campaign will move back into your active list, but:
The associated form will remain closed to new submissions by default.
The email journey will stay paused, giving you full control to re-enable it if needed.
What Happens When You Archive or Restore a Campaign
This functionality is now live in GivePanel and available for all customers.
When you archive a campaign:
The form is automatically closed to new registrations.
Associated email journeys are paused.
When you restore a campaign:
The form stays closed until manually re-opened.
Email journeys remain paused and can be reactivated in your campaign settings.
This makes it easier to keep your campaigns list clean and organised, while still allowing you to revisit and reuse past activity when needed.
