How Do I Add A Fundraiser Form To My Message Template?

In this article we'll show you how to add a form to your messaging templates.

  1. Create your data capture form in Campaigns > Forms (make sure to select the form type ''Request Fundraiser Details with On-page Message'')

  2. When it is ready to be added to a message go to Messaging > Templates

  3. Click the message you want to add the form to. On the right-hand side of the page, select the name of your form from the Form drop-down.

  4. Write your message. Where you want to have the form, include the form shortcode (you can find this above the form drop-down on the right-hand side). You can click on the shortcode and drag it into the message to make sure you have typed it out properly.

  5. Double-check that the form shortcode is correct. It should be [Form /]

  6. This form shortcode will now dynamically work with the chosen form for this message.

  7. The unique url that is tied to the fundraiser record is created when you generate each thank you message

  8. Any fundraiser who completes the form will have their data put automatically on their fundraiser record on GivePanel.
