When a JustGiving fundraiser is created via the GivePanel/JustGiving integration (JG API), as of the 22nd February 2025 the claim status will update each morning for JustGiving pages claimed in the previous two days.

Previously it was only updating to 'claimed' in GivePanel once the fundraiser receives a donation.

Organic JustGiving fundraisers (fundraisers created outside of the GivePanel/JustGiving integration) are automatically treated as claimed in GivePanel.

As a result, they will not receive emails triggered by the 'not claimed' status, even if they haven’t received a donation.

If a supporter has claimed their JG API fundraiser it will update in GivePanel the following morning.
