GivePanel sends automated emails in hourly batches to ensure timely delivery and even distribution throughout the day.

Date triggered emails

Emails triggered by date conditions (for example, “3 days after registration” or “1 day before the event”) are now sent hourly instead of once per day.

Sending begins at 9am (BST) or 10am (GMT) for UK-based accounts, and continues every hour for 5 hours.

For US-based accounts, sending begins at 11am or 12pm UK time and also runs for 5 hours.

In summary:

  • UK & Rest of World: 9am–2pm BST / 10am–3pm GMT

  • US accounts: 11am–4pm BST / 12pm–5pm GMT

If you create or activate an email during this window, it will be included in the next hourly batch.

For example, if you create an email at 12:30pm UK time, it will be sent to everyone who meets the trigger at the next send (1pm).

Amount raised triggered emails

Emails triggered by fundraising progress, such as “£100 raised” or “less than £200 raised”, are also sent hourly.

This ensures supporters receive timely updates and recognition as soon as they reach key milestones.

Adjusting send times

If you’d like your campaign emails to send at a different time, please contact [email protected] or use the support widget in the bottom right of your GivePanel account.

Our team can review your settings and confirm whether a custom send schedule is possible for your account.
