Before you can create a form in GivePanel Events, you must first set your Events subdomain in Account Settings.

This subdomain forms the base of your event form URLs and is where all GivePanel Events registration forms will be hosted.

You will not be able to create a form until this has been configured.

Why This Is Required

Your subdomain:

  • Creates the base URL for all GivePanel Events forms

  • Ensures your forms have a consistent, branded web address

  • Is required before any event forms can be generated

How to Set Your Subdomain

  1. Go to Account Settings (top right of your GivePanel account).

  2. Scroll to GivePanel Events Subdomain.

  3. Enter your desired subdomain.

    • Example: yourcharity

  4. Click Save.

Your forms will now use this structure:

Choosing a Subdomain

Best practice:

  • Keep it short and simple

  • Use your charity name or abbreviation

  • Avoid spaces and special characters

Once saved, you can proceed to create your first GivePanel Events form.
