Step 1:
First you’ll want to build your form with all the fields that need to be filled out for every type of registrant in the ‘Register Themselves’ section (this includes any fields you will eventually hide for the primary registrant).
Step 2:
Now you can hide any fields that you don’t want the primary registrant to fill out on their own registration form by clicking the eye icon, this could be things like specific questions around child participants that only apply to child registrants.
Step 3:
Now navigate to the ‘Register Others’ tab - these are the fields the primary registrant will fill out on behalf of any secondary registrants.
Depending on how many different types of tickets you have in your event, you will be able to hide and show any fields on the part of the registration form the primary registrant fills out for any secondary registrant in their basket. You do this by selecting the ticket type first then hiding or showing the fields you want to show for those specific ticket types.
E.g. An adult buys 2 adult tickets and 1 child ticket. They fill out the form with the details for their own registration, then they fill out the details for the additional adult and child they are registering for. Using the show/hide fields functionality you can edit exactly what the primary registrant needs to fill out for the additional adult and child tickets they are purchasing.
Step 4:
The confirm registration tab shows all the remaining fields that the primary registrant has not filled out on behalf of any adult secondary registrants they are purchasing tickets for. This form gets automatically sent to the email address the primary registrant adds for their secondary registrant.
You can also hide or show any fields on this form, making the form as bespoke as you need it to be.
N.B. Children's tickets do not get an email to fill out a secondary registration form, so please ensure all the data you want to capture for child participants is on their form in the ‘Register others’ section.
