The end date of a Facebook fundraiser can be changed by the fundraiser at any time while the fundraiser is active. Therefore the end date is dynamic.
Probably for this reason Facebook does not provide the end date in the Facebook transaction data (as it might change at a later date).
Of course, it would be VERY useful to have this date and GivePanel would make it a top priority to make this data point available if it was technically possible.
We do know that "most" fundraisers end 14 days after the start date. This is the default end date and is not often changed by the fundraiser. You can use this information for your fundraiser engagement strategy.
For example, we recommend a two-message strategy to encourage your supporters to fill out a data capture form. Knowing that most fundraisers end 14 days after the start date means we often post a 2nd message (thanking the supporter and inviting them to fill out a fundraiser-type form) on a fundraiser page on day 10.
We also know a Facebook fundraiser can't last more than 90 days. So all fundraisers older than 90 days will have ended.
If sharing a GivePanel 1-Click Custom Facebook Fundraiser link with your supporters so they can create a fundraiser for your Facebook Challenge or event, you can decide the end date of the fundraiser before it is created. If the end date is static (e.g. end on x day), you will then know the end date of fundraisers for a particular campaign. Please note, supporters can edit the end date themselves after they have created the Facebook fundraiser.
