If the fundraiser has been created using a GivePanel Custom Fundraiser link (formerly 1-Click), it will come straight into your GivePanel account.
Facebook reporting is still based on transactions (not fundraisers). Therefore if a fundraiser has been created organically (e.g. within Facebook directly and not using a GivePanel Custom Fundraiser link such as a birthday fundraiser) and does not have any transactions it does not exist in Facebook reporting.
โ
GivePanel is based on reporting (even though we have integrated with Facebook's reporting API). So unless Facebook changes the way they report, we will never see zero donation organic fundraisers in GivePanel. We do not think Facebook will change this.
Please also bear in mind that a VERY high % of zero donation fundraisers soon get their first donation and can then be seen in GivePanel once the Facebook transaction data that contains the donation is uploaded into GivePanel where they can be messaged, labeled, and coded.

To summarize, the exception to this rule applies to fundraisers created through our Custom Fundraiser Creation process (formerly 1-Click). In most cases, these fundraisers will appear in your account immediately, even if they haven't received any donations yet.
While our real-time donations feature will track donations for these fundraisers, we still advise uploading transaction reports or using the single-day importer to ensure all date ranges for other fundraisers are covered and to update real-time donations to reflect the full donations received.
