Fundraiser forms are designed to help you capture data from your organic Facebook fundraisers - such as Birthday Fundraisers or spontaneous personal challenges where supporter contact details aren’t automatically shared by Facebook.
These forms can be added into your GivePanel Message Templates, allowing you to collect fundraiser details directly through a link included in your thank you message posted on their Facebook fundraiser page.
Creating a Fundraiser Type Form
To create a fundraiser form:
Go to Campaigns in the main navigation bar.
Select Forms from the dropdown.
Click New Form.
Give your form a clear title (e.g. “Birthday Fundraiser Data Capture”) and upload your logo.
Under Type, select Request fundraiser details with on-page message from the dropdown.
From there, follow the standard form builder steps:
Choose which data fields you want to capture (for example: name, email address, consent preferences).
Edit field labels to match your tone or data requirements.
Drag and drop to reorder fields on the form.
How Fundraiser Forms Work
Fundraiser forms are different from Event Registration or Event Registration with 1-Click forms.
Event Registration / 1-Click forms: Provide a single shareable URL that can be used by many supporters - for example, shared in ads, on your website, or in Facebook groups.
Fundraiser Forms: Are designed for one to one data capture. They’re embedded into your GivePanel Message Templates and automatically generate a unique form URL for each individual fundraiser when posted.
This means:
When you post a thank you message via GivePanel Messaging, a unique version of the form is created for that fundraiser.
When the fundraiser completes the form, their details are automatically saved directly to their fundraiser record in GivePanel.
Once the form has been completed, the unique link becomes locked, preventing it from being reused.
