When supporters create fundraisers directly through Facebook for example, a birthday fundraiser outside of the GivePanel integration, these are known as organic Facebook fundraisers.
Organic fundraisers appear in GivePanel only after they’ve received their first donation and that donation has been imported into your account. Once imported, a fundraiser record is created automatically, allowing you to identify and steward these supporters.
How to locate organic fundraisers
Go to Fundraisers in the main navigation bar.
Open the Filter menu.
Under Fundraiser Type, select Organic.
This will display all fundraisers that were created natively on Facebook and not through the GivePanel integration.
You can use this view to:
Identify new organic fundraisers as they appear in your account.
Tag or attribute them to an event or campaign.
Post thank you messages using GivePanel Message Templates and use labels to track who has been thanked.
How to see who has completed a data capture form
If you’re using Fundraiser Forms to collect contact details from organic fundraisers, you can track completions directly in GivePanel.
Go to Fundraisers in the main navigation bar.
Filter by Fundraiser Type > Organic.
Add a second filter for Form Completion > Only Completed.
This will show all organic fundraisers who have filled out your data capture form, helping you identify those who can be included in your email journeys or stewardship communications.
Exporting your organic fundraiser data
Once you’ve filtered your fundraiser list, you can export your results:
Click Export to CSV to download a quick list.
For a more detailed export, use the Report Builder for additional fields and flexibility.
Exports allow you to analyse organic fundraiser data outside of GivePanel and import the data into your CRM.
