To enable JustGiving fundraiser creation for your virtual campaign or event, you need to connect it using your JustGiving Event ID. You can also optionally link a JustGiving Campaign Shortname.
Follow the steps below to set this up.
Step 1: Open Your Campaign
In GivePanel, go to Campaigns in the main navigation bar.
Select Campaigns again from the dropdown.
Click on the campaign or event you want to connect to JustGiving.
Click the small pencil icon on the right hand side to edit the campaign.
Step 2: Add Your JustGiving Details
Scroll down to the section titled JustGiving Event.
Enter your JustGiving Event ID in the JustGiving Event ID field.
(Optional) Enter your JustGiving Campaign Shortname in the JustGiving Campaign field.
The Event ID ensures fundraising pages are linked to the correct event in JustGiving.
The Campaign Shortname allows pages to inherit campaign level branding and reporting in JustGiving.
Step 3: Save Your Changes
Click Save and Continue to apply the changes.
What Happens Next
Once connected:
Supporters will be able to create a JustGiving fundraiser when submitting your event registration using a 1 Click form.
Fundraisers can also be created via your Custom Facebook Fundraiser 1 Click link.
This ensures fundraising pages are correctly linked and structured within JustGiving from the moment they are created.
