Getting started with GivePanel Events is quick and easy. Many organisations are able to create their first ticketed event within a few days (if not the same day). Below is an example timeline to show how the process typically works.
Quick launch overview
Order form signed:
→ Connect your key integrations (payments, fundraising and email tool)
→ Create your event registration form
→ Run a test registration
→ (Optional but recommended) Add your JustGiving redirect
→ Start sharing your event
Typical setup flow
Order form completed
Once your order form is completed, your GivePanel account will be prepared for Events and you can begin setting up your event.
Connect integrations
Next, connect your key integrations such as payments and fundraising platforms. Many organisations already have these set up, so connecting them usually only takes a few minutes.
Create your event
Create your event registration form and add any ticket types or registration options you’d like supporters to choose from.
Test your event
Before sharing your event publicly, we recommend submitting test registrations to make sure everything looks and works exactly as expected.
Add a JustGiving redirect (optional)
You may want to add a redirect from your JustGiving campaign page to your GivePanel event registration form. This is configured directly in JustGiving and typically takes effect immediately.
Go live
Once you're happy with your setup, you can start sharing your event registration page with supporters.
Fastest possible launch
Some organisations complete the entire setup and launch their event on the same day. (this is normally those that have already connected their integrations for a previous event)

Afternoon
Add your JustGiving redirect (if used)

Email setup
The email tool requires adding DNS records so your sending domain can be authenticated. We can enable this quickly from our side, but the timing can depend on how long it takes your organisation’s IT team to process the DNS records.
Because of this, many organisations choose to set up email alongside creating their event.
