If you are using GivePanel Events, supporters may come across your event directly on JustGiving (for example via search).
Without a redirect in place, supporters can create a fundraising page directly in JustGiving without registering for your event. This can lead to gaps in registration data, reporting, and supporter communications.
By setting up an event level redirect, you can ensure supporters are guided into your GivePanel event registration flow instead.
Important to know
Event level redirects are only available for charity owned JustGiving events.
If your event is a public JustGiving event, redirects can’t be applied.
When to use this
This setup is recommended if:
You are using GivePanel Events
You want to ensure all supporters register via GivePanel, even if they find your event directly in JustGiving

This redirect is configured by JustGiving and is not currently available as a self serve option.
To get this set up:

Share your JustGiving Event ID
Share your GivePanel event registration URL
We will then work with JustGiving to configure the redirect for your event.
What this does
Once configured:
Without a redirect:
Supporters find the event in JustGiving, click to ''start fundraising'', and bypass the registration / ticket purchase step.
With a redirect:
Supporters are sent to your GivePanel event registration page before creating their fundraiser, where they are invited to register / purchase a ticket and create their fundraiser in one flow.
Supporter journey
Supporter finds your event on JustGiving
→ Clicks to start fundraising
→ Redirected to GivePanel event registration page
→ Completes registration / ticket purchase
→ Fundraiser is created and linked correctly
Important note
This redirect works alongside the JustGiving Campaign Page redirect. For the best supporter experience, it’s recommended to have both redirects set up to ensure all entry points into JustGiving guide supporters through your GivePanel flow.
