If you’re seeing the error message "Test connection failed. Please check your credentials and try again" when trying to set up the JustGiving integration in GivePanel, there are a few steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Please follow the guide below to ensure everything is set up correctly.

Step 1: Verify Admin Account Login Details
Ensure that the login details entered for the JustGiving integration in GivePanel are for an admin of your main JustGiving charity account. Please note that you should not use the login details for the developer account used to create the JustGiving app.

Step 2: Confirm JustGiving App Upgrade
Double-check that your JustGiving app has been upgraded to a data app. This is required for the GivePanel integration to work properly. You can check if the app has been upgraded and if it hasn't, request the upgrade by following the instructions here.

Step 3: Reset Your JustGiving Password
If Steps 1 and 2 are correct, the next step is to reset your JustGiving password.

Please follow the specific instructions provided by Blackbaud to reset the password.

Once reset, update the password in the GivePanel JustGiving integration settings.

After completing these steps, please retry the connection in GivePanel (by clicking ''Update'' in the integration modal).

If the error persists, please contact the GivePanel support team for further assistance.
