When testing your GivePanel Event fundraiser flow, you will see a JustGiving account displayed at the top of the registration page.
This account is taken directly from your current JustGiving login session in your browser. GivePanel uses whichever JustGiving account is already signed in when the flow begins to create the fundraiser.
The same JustGiving account is also used to automatically populate supporter details such as name and email address. These details are pulled directly from the supporter’s JustGiving profile.
How to change the JustGiving account shown
To change the JustGiving account that appears:
Sign out of JustGiving in your browser
Close any active JustGiving tabs
Return to the GivePanel fundraiser flow and restart it
When prompted, sign into the correct JustGiving account
Once signed in, the updated account will appear at the top of the registration page and will be used for the fundraiser creation.
Tips when testing
To avoid using the wrong account during testing:
Use an incognito or private browsing window
Ensure you are fully signed out of JustGiving before starting
If the wrong account continues to appear after following these steps, please contact [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help investigate further.
