If something in GivePanel isn’t working as expected - from login issues to missing data - you’re in the right place.
This section covers the most common problems our users encounter and how to fix them quickly. Each article walks you through simple checks and next steps, and where to reach out if you still need help.
For anything urgent or not listed here, you can always contact [email protected] and our team will be happy to take a closer look.
1. I haven’t received my password reset or new user email
If you’re waiting for a password reset or new user email and it hasn’t arrived, try the following:
Check your spam or junk folder
These emails sometimes get filtered by your email provider. Look for messages from [email protected].
Search for “GivePanel”
Use your inbox search bar to look for “GivePanel” in the subject line or sender address.
Check with your IT team
If you’re using a charity or corporate email domain, your IT team may need to whitelist some emails and links to allow the emails through.

2. I’m seeing a white screen when I log in to GivePanel
If you see a blank or white screen after logging into GivePanel, try these steps:
- Clear your browser cache
Cached files can sometimes cause pages not to load properly. Clear your cache and cookies, then refresh GivePanel.
- Try a different browser or private window
Open GivePanel in a private/incognito window or switch browsers (for example, Chrome).
- Check your internet connection
A weak or unstable connection can sometimes cause the page not to load fully.
- If you still see a white screen
This is often tied to a firewall. Please send our team a screenshot of your browser console when the issue occurs. Depending on what we find, your IT team may need to whitelist certain links.
3. Something looks broken or I’ve spotted a glitch in GivePanel
If you notice something in GivePanel isn’t working as expected, such as a button not responding, a page not saving, or data looking wrong, please:
- Refresh your browser
Small display errors can sometimes fix themselves after a refresh, try clearing your cache too.
- Check in app notifications
We sometimes post temporary notices if there’s a known issue or fix in progress.
- Try logging out and back in
This refreshes your session and clears any temporary sync issues.
- Still seeing a problem?
Send us as much detail as possible at [email protected], including:
- A short description of the issue
- The campaign name (if relevant)
- A screenshot or screen recording
This helps us replicate and resolve the issue faster.
4. My totals between GivePanel and JustGiving are different
It’s normal for GivePanel and JustGiving totals to differ slightly from time to time depending on where you're reporting from. More info here.
5. A Facebook fundraiser shows a different amount in GivePanel than on Facebook
If you see a mismatch between a fundraiser’s total in GivePanel and on Facebook, it’s often because:
- Facebook transaction data covering recent donations hasn’t yet been imported, or
- The supporter has created a linked Instagram fundraiser where the fundraising total on the facebook fundraiser when viewing in facebook is accounting for donations made to both the instagram and facebook fundraiser whereas in GivePanel there will be two separate fundraiser records, one for Instagram and one for Facebook.
6. Something isn’t working on Facebook
If you’re experiencing issues with Facebook, such as fundraisers missing, donation data delays, or ad issues, you can raise a case directly with Meta Support Pro
7. I can’t import my Facebook transaction report
If you’re seeing an error when uploading your Facebook transaction report, it’s usually caused by the file being opened or edited before being imported.
